Dreamscience Performance Tuning Calibrations
The Stratagem iMap supports three primary Dreamscience performance calibrations for the Ford Fiesta XR4 / ST150.
1. Race+ – Stage 1 Performance Tune
Recommended for standard vehicles and everyday performance driving.
The Dreamscience Race+ calibration is designed to improve the performance and responsiveness of the standard 2.0L Duratec engine without requiring additional mechanical modifications.
The calibration adjusts factory torque management and throttle behaviour to deliver improved acceleration and a more responsive driving experience.
Performance improvements include:
- Approximately +15 bhp (11.2 kW) over standard in Dreamscience’s published testing.
- Approximately +12 lb-ft (16.3 Nm) of additional torque.
- Improved first- and second-gear acceleration.

2. Track – Motorsport-Oriented Calibration
Designed for track-day and performance driving applications.
The Track calibration builds upon the Race+ tune with more aggressive torque management and throttle intervention adjustments.
This calibration is intended to provide a more direct response during hard acceleration and gear changes.

The Hyper Race+ calibration has been developed for vehicles equipped with supporting performance modifications.
Typical modifications include:
- Performance cold air induction system.
- 4-2-1 performance exhaust manifold.
- Upgraded exhaust system.
- Suitable high-flow catalytic converter.
- Standard camshafts with compatible supporting modifications.
When fitted with the appropriate hardware, Dreamscience reports that vehicles can achieve approximately 185–190 bhp (138–142 kW) at the engine.
Fuel Requirement: Developed around UK 99 RON premium unleaded fuel.
Recommended Application: Modified Fiesta XR4 / ST150 vehicles with compatible induction and exhaust upgrades.
Australian Fuel Note: Local premium fuel specifications differ from UK fuels. Australian 98 RON compatibility must be confirmed for the supplied calibration before installation.

Simple OBD-II Installation – No ECU Removal Required
The Dreamscience Stratagem iMap allows compatible tuning software to be installed through the factory OBD-II diagnostic connection.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the Stratagem iMap handset to the vehicle’s OBD-II diagnostic port.
- Switch the ignition on and follow the handset instructions.
- Select the appropriate Dreamscience calibration for your vehicle.
- Follow the on-screen programming procedure while maintaining stable battery voltage.
- Allow programming to finish without disconnecting the handset or interrupting vehicle power.
- Once programming is complete, follow the prompts and start the vehicle.
- Verify normal engine operation and check for diagnostic trouble codes.
The handset also allows the original ECU calibration to be restored when required, provided the device retains the necessary vehicle information.
Important: Battery support is strongly recommended during ECU programming. Never disconnect the handset or interrupt ignition and power while programming is in progress.

Important Tuning & Warranty Disclaimer
Vehicle Condition: All performance calibrations are intended for mechanically sound vehicles with correctly functioning ignition, fuel delivery, cooling and engine management systems. Existing mechanical or electrical faults must be rectified before ECU programming.
Fuel Requirements: Customers must use fuel that meets the specified calibration requirements. Fuel sold in Australia may differ from the fuel grades used during overseas calibration development.
Modification Compatibility: Performance calibrations must match the actual vehicle configuration. Vehicles fitted with modified camshafts, induction systems, injectors or other significant performance components may require additional tuning.

Software & Licensing: The handset must be correctly returned to stock before being transferred to another supported vehicle. Vehicle change limits, software licensing restrictions and compatibility requirements apply.
Returns: Software-licensed or vehicle-locked devices may have return limitations, subject to Australian Consumer Law and the applicable supplier terms.
