The BPR Upgraded Melling 3-391SF Camshaft Drive Kit is a complete timing chain and camshaft drive package for Ford Modular 5.4L DOHC 4-Valve V8 engines, including Australian BA, BF and FG Falcon / FPV Boss applications.

Rather than supplying the Melling kit in its standard configuration, Bullet Performance Racing has upgraded key timing components based on our preferred specification for 5.4L 4V engine builds.

The standard timing chains, guides and tensioners have been replaced with a combination of Genuine Ford, Morse and IWIS components, while retaining the proven Melling camshaft and crankshaft sprockets.

This provides a comprehensive timing-drive package suitable for assembling a 5.4L 4V engine, rebuilding an existing Boss engine, replacing worn timing components, or preparing a performance-oriented engine build.

BPR Upgraded Specification

The standard Melling chain package has been upgraded with:
