Dreamscience Performance Tunes – Focus ST225 / XR5 Turbo
Dreamscience has developed a range of performance calibrations for the 2.5L five-cylinder turbocharged ST225 engine.

Mod XRS – High Performance Calibration
The Mod XRS calibration builds upon the popular Mod X software and is specifically developed for vehicles equipped with larger Bosch 440cc injectors associated with the Focus RS Mk2.
It features revised boost delivery and throttle mapping for suitably modified ST225 engines.
Dreamscience has reported results exceeding 320 bhp (approximately 239 kW at the engine) on appropriately modified vehicles.
This is a manufacturer’s indicative performance claim, not a guaranteed power output. Actual results depend on vehicle condition, modifications, fuel and calibration suitability.
Multiple Vehicle Use – Five Lives
The Stratagem iMap features a five-life vehicle programming system.
The handset can be used on compatible vehicles, provided the original vehicle has been returned to its factory calibration before transferring the device.
Important conditions:
- The handset becomes associated with a vehicle when a performance tune is installed.
- The original vehicle must be returned to stock before attempting to tune a different vehicle.
- The handset cannot be transferred to another vehicle while the previous vehicle remains tuned.
- Vehicle changes consume the available handset lives according to the manufacturer’s programming rules.
- Unlimited switching between compatible tunes is supported on the currently registered vehicle, subject to device and calibration restrictions.
We recommend restoring the original factory calibration before dealership servicing or software updates. This does not guarantee that a manufacturer will accept warranty coverage for a modified vehicle.
Custom Tuning File Support
The Stratagem iMap can also accept compatible custom calibration files supplied by authorised tuning providers.
Custom tune files may be emailed to customers and loaded onto the handset using a compatible Windows PC and the supplied USB cable.
This allows additional tuning options for vehicles with specialised engine modifications, subject to ECU compatibility and calibration availability.
Simple Installation
- Connect the Stratagem iMap handset to the vehicle’s OBD-II diagnostic port.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and confirm ECU compatibility.
- Select the appropriate Dreamscience performance calibration.
- Program the vehicle’s ECU using the handset.
- Allow the programming procedure to finish without interrupting the power supply.
- Follow any required ignition cycling instructions before starting the engine.
Battery support is strongly recommended during ECU programming.

Important Installation and Tuning Disclaimer
