Mountune V-band Downpipe/Spors Cat

The Mountune V-band Downpipe / Sports Cat has been engineered to reduce exhaust back-pressure for mk3 Focus RS fitted with larger frame turbochargers that require a v-band for installation.

Expertly crafted from 304 grade Stainless steel and TIG welded throughout, the Mountune sports cat v-band downpipe features a large diameter 5” motorsport-type, 200-cell count metal substrate honeycomb catalyst. As a result, ultra high-flow performance in extreme environments is ensured.

Quality Assurance

Additionally, robust OE-type mounting brackets and hangers are utilised to maintain perfect alignment and an OE-like fit. Also incorporated is an 8” stainless steel flex section, absorbing shock and preventing OE hanger failure. Also, as additional HEGO boss is included for those wishing to run an external wide-band lambda gauge, or that require a mounting point to monitor EGT.

In addition, the pipe is supplied with an adaptor sleeve. As a result, it is fully compatible with the Mountune cat-back exhaust, as well as any third-party option that retains the OE break point.

Ultimate Performance

In order to optimise performance, revised engine calibration will be required, and may emit the EML without it.

Not compatible with OE turbocharger, this downpipe is for larger frame turbochargers that require a v-band flange only.
