Description
Professional PCM/ECU cloning service for selected 2006–2007 Ford Ranger and Mazda BT-50 2.5L Turbo Diesel vehicles fitted with the Bosch EDC16C7 engine control module.
This service is designed for vehicles with a faulty or damaged PCM where a compatible second-hand replacement ECU/PCM has been sourced.

Complex BDM Cloning
These ECUs require specialist BDM bench programming and cannot simply be swapped with a second-hand PCM.
The ECU is carefully opened and connected directly to specialist programming equipment. Required vehicle-specific data is read from the original PCM and transferred to the compatible donor PCM.
Depending on the ECU, transferred data may include:
- PATS / immobiliser data
- EEPROM data
- VIN and vehicle-specific information
- ECU coding and configuration
- Flash/program data where required
- Factory calibration and software where required
Once cloning is completed, the replacement PCM is programmed and verified before the ECU housing is professionally resealed.

What You Need to Supply
Customer must supply both:
- Original ECU/PCM from the vehicle
- Compatible replacement/donor ECU/PCM
For best results, the donor ECU should have the same Bosch and Ford/Mazda part numbers as the original.
Important Information
Compatibility is determined by the ECU hardware and part numbers, not vehicle year alone. Please compare the labels on your original and donor ECU before ordering.
The original PCM must have readable memory for cloning to be completed. Physically or electronically damaged ECUs with unreadable memory may require additional diagnostic or data-recovery work.
Donor/replacement ECU is not included with this service.
