Here are the installation instructions – you may want to print them up if you purchase this item:
During the entire process, be very careful not to drop the injector or damage the fragile pintle end of the injector in any manner. Also, do not allow any dirt to enter the injector.
Use a small pick to remove the old o-rings. Roll new o-rings on with your fingers. The black o-rings go on the top and botton of the injector.
The correct installation order of parts once removed it the black oring on the bottom end, then the pintle cap /ring.
To remove the inlet screens, find a sheet metal screw that will just screw into the top of the old filter without damaging the injector body. Clamp the head of the screw into a vise and screw the injector several turns onto the screw. Rock the injector back and forth slightly while pulling firmly to remove the filter from the injector.
Tap new filters in with a very small hammer while holding the injector body firmly in your other hand. Do not place the end of the injector against a solid surface while doing this.
Remove pintle caps by popping them off with a utility knife or sidecutters. Again, be cautious to avoid damaging the orifice plate or pintle on the end of the injector.
Use a 10mm socket to seat the new pintle cap onto the end of the injector after spacer and o-ring have been installed.
